Zurich is one of the safest wealthy cities in the world, which changes the brief entirely. Here the work is about privacy, confidentiality and seamless movement for principals whose exposure is financial and reputational rather than physical.
As in Geneva, anything heavy-handed is a mistake. Zurich rewards operatives who are barely noticed.
The local picture
A few local realities shape every plan we build in Zurich:
- Privacy over crime. Street risk is low, so the focus is protecting movements, meetings and information.
- Concentrated wealth. Banking and family-office activity create targeted, quiet exposure.
- Predictable luxury strip. Bahnhofstrasse and the lakeside hotels repeat, so patterns need managing.
- Event and travel peaks. Business calendars and nearby alpine travel shape busy periods.
Working within the local rules
Private security in Switzerland is regulated cantonally, and our operatives work within Zurich's rules. Firearms are tightly controlled, so protection is almost always unarmed and built on discretion and planning.
Arrivals, venues and the places that matter
Most principals arrive through Zurich Airport with its private aviation facilities, a short protected transfer from the city and the lakeside hotels.
- Private aviation. Zurich Airport private terminals, with protected meet-and-greet and transfer.
- Residences. City apartments and villas on the Gold Coast of Lake Zurich, with managed access.
- Hotels. Baur au Lac, The Dolder Grand and Widder, handled discreetly.
- Business. The banking district and private venues around Bahnhofstrasse.
- Nearby alpine travel. Secure transfers to St. Moritz and the resorts when the season calls.
