Courchevel is where a particular kind of wealth spends the winter. Its chalets and palaces host a concentrated, high-profile clientele for a short alpine season, and protection here blends residential chalet security with careful movement on and off the mountain.
Our operatives work the resort in season and understand how a small, exclusive mountain town concentrates both visibility and logistics.
The local picture
A few local realities shape every plan we build in Courchevel:
- Chalet security. High-value chalets and their staff, deliveries and access are the centre of the brief.
- Seasonal visibility. A small resort hosting a wealthy, recognisable clientele raises exposure quickly.
- Mountain logistics. Movement by altiport, helicopter and road needs careful timing in winter conditions.
- Predictable venues. The same restaurants, clubs and slopes repeat, so patterns form fast.
Working within the local rules
Private security in France is licensed by the CNAPS, and our operatives work within that framework. Close protection in Courchevel is generally unarmed and built on planning, chalet security and discreet movement.
Arrivals, venues and the places that matter
Most principals arrive through Geneva, Chambéry or Lyon and transfer by helicopter or road, or use the Courchevel altiport directly. We plan the transfer around winter conditions and the resort's limited access.
- Private aviation. Geneva and Chambéry with helicopter transfer, or the Courchevel altiport directly.
- Chalets. The palaces and private chalets of Courchevel 1850, with managed access and staff.
- Hotels. Les Airelles, Cheval Blanc and L'Apogée, handled discreetly.
- On the mountain. Private ski guiding and discreet protection on and off the slopes.
- Dining and clubs. The resort's restaurants and nightlife, where exposure concentrates.
