Selected engagements, anonymized.

A few real engagements, shared with our clients' consent and fully anonymized. Each is a picture of how we plan and deliver protection, never a disclosure of who we protect.

Case study 01

Relocating a family under threat

An anonymized account, published with the client's consent. Names, companies, exact dates and specific locations are withheld under our confidentiality agreement.

The situation

The chief executive of an international technology company and his family faced concrete, targeted threats to their safety, following a high-profile commercial and legal dispute. They needed to relocate urgently to a capital city in Central Europe while keeping a full daily routine: the children's international school run, sensitive business meetings, and frequent movement in public.

Our response

  • Risk assessment and intelligence. Our intelligence team ran a full threat analysis of the destination and mapped the family's likely movements and routes.
  • Residential security. The new residence was swept electronically and physically, with CCTV, biometric access control and a dedicated safe room.
  • Secure transport. Operational drivers trained in defensive and evasive driving, in discreet executive vehicles that blended into city traffic without drawing attention.
  • Local coordination. Close liaison with local law enforcement and a quick-reaction capability prepared for any extreme scenario.
  • Close protection. Multilingual close-protection officers, armed in accordance with local law, who blended discreetly into the environment.

The outcome

Twelve consecutive months of protective coverage with zero safety incidents. The family completed the relocation smoothly and kept a full, safe routine throughout. Every attempt at surveillance or intelligence-gathering by the hostile parties was identified early, disrupted, and handed to the local police.

Outcome at a glance

  • 12 months of continuous protective coverage.
  • Zero safety incidents.
  • A full family routine maintained throughout, including the children's schooling.
  • Hostile surveillance identified early, disrupted and referred to local police.

This engagement drew on our close protection and residential security teams working as one. For the thinking behind it, see why discretion is your strongest defence.

Case study 02

A week on the Amalfi Coast, under a credible threat

An anonymized account, published with the client's consent. The client's name, the identity of the guests, the hotels, the yacht and exact dates are withheld under a strict confidentiality agreement.

The situation

A prominent attorney and senior government advisor from Central America, whose sensitive work alongside senior government figures had drawn a concrete and immediate armed threat from sophisticated criminal organisations, planned a week-long private holiday on Italy's Amalfi Coast with a party of around twenty guests. The brief was absolute protection against an attack, across cliffside luxury hotels, a private yacht at sea and the narrow, crowded roads between them, without disturbing the relaxed and private atmosphere for the principal and his guests.

Our response

  • Dedicated detail and rotation. A three-officer close-protection team working strict shifts for continuous 24/7 cover, with eyes on the principal at all times, at the hotels and on board, and no moment of exposure.
  • Low profile. Officers in civilian dress suited to the setting, blending among the guests and crew, holding immediate tactical proximity without disturbing the holiday or drawing the attention of the public and other visitors.
  • Maritime security. A physical and technical sweep of the yacht before boarding, maritime emergency procedures for the gulf, sea evacuation routes and encrypted communication with local coastal contacts.
  • Secure ground transport. A pre-arranged convoy of executive vehicles with operational drivers who knew the tight, winding routes of the Amalfi Coast, with the nearest medical-evacuation points mapped at every stop.

The outcome

A full week of intensive coverage completed with zero incidents. The engagement ran seamlessly from start to finish. The principal retained MTG as his exclusive security provider for all of his future visits to Europe.

Outcome at a glance

  • 7 days of continuous 24/7 coverage, on land and at sea.
  • Zero incidents, with a party of around 20 guests protected throughout.
  • Seamless, low-profile protection across hotels, yacht and transfers.
  • Retained as the client's exclusive provider for future visits to Europe.

This engagement combined our close protection, maritime and superyacht security and event teams as one coordinated detail.

Case study 03

Late-night protection across Amsterdam

An anonymized account, published with the client's consent. The client's name, the clubs, hotels and casinos he visited, and his flight details are withheld under a strict confidentiality agreement.

The situation

A prominent Israeli businessman and investor arrived by private jet for two weeks of celebration and nightlife in Amsterdam, with an uncompromising demand for absolute discretion, the highest level of service, and close night-time protection across high-risk settings: casinos, exclusive clubs, private parties and the movement between them. The core challenge was to prevent extortion, theft or assault while giving the principal complete freedom to enjoy himself, with no sense of being crowded by the security team.

Our response

  • Modular movement and a tactical convoy. Movement through the city ran on two vehicles: the principal in a lead car with an operational driver, and a dedicated tail car behind to deter surveillance and provide an immediate response.
  • Arrival protocol and a split detail. A strict division of roles at every venue. One officer stayed with the vehicle while another escorted the principal inside.
  • Covert protection inside the venues. Inside the clubs and casinos the officer kept continuous, tactical line of sight, whether at the bar or from a nearby table, so the principal kept his privacy while protected within arm's reach.
  • Evacuation readiness. The security vehicles waited on the street at the venue entrance, with a driver and officer on full standby, so that if a rapid extraction was needed the inside officer could move the principal straight to the main door and away within seconds.

The outcome

What began as a one-week engagement extended smoothly to a full two weeks, with zero incidents. The whole engagement ran smoothly, safely and with complete discretion. The principal enjoyed total freedom of movement and full security, and valued the team's ability to remain present yet unseen in the busiest and most sensitive nightlife settings.

Outcome at a glance

  • A one-week brief that extended to two full weeks.
  • Zero incidents across casinos, clubs and private events.
  • Complete freedom of movement, with protection within arm's reach.
  • Two-vehicle convoy with evacuation readiness at every venue.

This engagement combined our close protection and event security teams for high-risk nightlife and entertainment settings.

Case study 04

Three years of layered protection in Geneva

An anonymized account, published with the family's consent. The client's identity, the exact residence location, family members' names and travel destinations are withheld under a strict confidentiality agreement.

The situation

A high-net-worth individual and philanthropist, a permanent resident of Geneva, faced elevated risk given his public and financial profile, against a documented rise in organised crime in the city. Public reporting has described a sharp increase in "home-jackings", violent break-ins at occupied luxury homes, with gangs including networks operating out of southern France specifically targeting the city's wealthiest residents (as reported by SWI swissinfo.ch); published figures put Geneva break-ins at more than double the Swiss average, and a regional survey found most residents and businesses felt their security had worsened. The brief was a permanent, airtight posture sustained over years, able to pre-empt these threats while preserving a calm and dignified daily life, and adapting to the client's changing health and personal circumstances.

Our response

  • Split force and a dual protective structure. A dedicated residential security team held the residence permanently, securing the property, running the security and access-control systems and sweeping the area, while a close-protection team accompanied the client everywhere outside the home.
  • International travel and flight protocol. Whenever the client flew outside Switzerland, the close-protection team travelled with him, with advance coordination with airports, managed private transfers, advance checks of hotels and venues at the destination, and full synchronisation with local drivers.
  • Residential technology integration. The Geneva home's security was upgraded with advanced monitoring, strict access control and a local control room running around the clock, to prevent any intrusion, break-in or intelligence-gathering against the property.
  • A discreet fit to daily life. Officers worked to the highest standard of service and sensitivity, blending fully into the client's personal environment and providing absolute security without weighing on his privacy or comfort, in leisure and in business.

The outcome

Three consecutive years of complex operations completed with zero incidents and complete peace of mind. The engagement ran with exceptional success throughout, against a shifting threat environment in the city. It reached its natural conclusion with the client's passing, in old age, and his family expressed deep appreciation to MTG for devoted and loyal support to his final days.

Outcome at a glance

  • 3 continuous years of layered protective coverage.
  • Zero incidents throughout.
  • A permanent residential team, plus close protection on every movement.
  • Protective coverage extended to international flights and destinations.

This engagement combined our close protection and residential security teams into a single, long-running protective structure.
